10 Years, 1 Bold Move: Why We Stepped Away from a Successful Partnership

When people ask why we would walk away from a decade-long client relationship that brought us national recognition and a marketing legacy we’re proud of, the answer is simple: because we knew it was time.

Yesterday, we worked with the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal to publish a story on Inspire Medical Systems’ agency transition. While the headline suggested we lost something, we see it more as a release, a natural next step in a decade-long journey. The article itself dives into the real story: one of growth, evolution, and knowing when to turn the page. We’re proud of the chapter we wrote with Inspire, and now it’s time for both of us to start writing what’s next.

For the past decade, Media Bridge had the privilege of helping Inspire Medical Systems grow from an early-stage startup into a publicly traded success story. Together, we built work that resonated with patients, elevated an entire category, and earned national recognition. Every step of the way, we were honored to be part of their story.

Inspire was one of the earliest clients to trust Media Bridge with their vision. What started as a client relationship quickly became a true partnership rooted in trust, collaboration, and a shared belief in the power of what was possible. Together, we didn’t just build campaigns; we built a brand that changed lives, taking a scrappy startup and helping it grow into a publicly traded category leader. We brought heart and humanity to a medical device company, and in doing so, made waves across the industry.

We’ve spent the past year preparing for this moment: diversifying our portfolio, expanding experiential activations, investing in our healthcare division MB Health, building on our proprietary analytics tool eMBi, and evolving our agency model to meet what the future demands…not just what the past expects. We’ve been hiring new talent, launching new divisions, and partnering with companies who are also ready to make bold moves.

What we’ve learned through this transition is that longevity in a partnership doesn’t mean holding on forever. It means recognizing when you’ve done your best work together… and having the clarity and courage to move forward with gratitude, not fear.

To the team at Inspire: thank you. For trusting us. For pushing us. For allowing us to be part of something bigger than ourselves. We wish you continued growth and success, and we’ll always be proud of the friendships and foundation we helped build.

And to our own team and partners: this is just the beginning. The momentum we’ve created together has positioned us to take on what’s next, and we’re more ready than ever.

Let’s go.
