Rebrands & brand refresh

A rebrand is a promise. Launch it like one.

Media Bridge rebuilds brands that have outgrown themselves, and then launches them with the media to make sure the market notices. Research, strategy, identity and launch, from one independent team.

Refresh or rebrand? Start with the business

A brand refresh keeps what people already know and fixes what is holding it back: an identity that looks dated, a story that no longer fits, a look that differs on every channel. A rebrand goes further, usually after a merger, a new direction or a name that stopped working. We start by finding out which one you actually need.

The part most rebrands miss is the launch. A new logo nobody sees changes nothing. Because Media Bridge plans and buys media in-house, the new brand goes to market with a real plan behind it, from the same team that built it.

How we take a brand from here to there

Every stage with the same senior team, so nothing gets lost in a hand-off.

01

Research and discovery

Customers, employees, competitors and the market. What people believe about you today, and what they would need to believe tomorrow.

02

Positioning and strategy

The one thing the brand stands for, and the story that proves it.

03

Naming

New company, product and program names, tested and checked before you fall in love.

04

Identity and design

Logo, color, type, photography and the guidelines that keep it consistent.

05

Rollout

Website, signage, vehicles, collateral and the internal launch, so your own people believe it first.

06

Launch campaign and media

The campaign and the media plan that introduce the new brand to the market, bought by our in-house team.

Questions about rebrands

What is the difference between a brand refresh and a rebrand?

A brand refresh updates how a brand looks and sounds while keeping its name and core identity, so existing customers still recognize it. A rebrand changes the brand more fundamentally, often the name, the identity and the positioning, and is usually triggered by a merger, a new strategy or a reputation that no longer fits.

How do I know if my company needs a rebrand?

Common signs: you merged or acquired, your services outgrew your name, customers misunderstand what you do, your look varies channel to channel, or you are competing on price because nothing sets you apart. We start with research so the decision is based on what customers think, not just how the logo looks to the leadership team.

Do you handle the launch after the new brand is designed?

Yes, and it is what sets Media Bridge apart. We are a full-service agency with in-house media planning and buying, so the launch campaign and the media behind it come from the same team that built the brand.

What industries have you rebranded?

Home services, real estate, nonprofits, hospitality, compliance and professional services, and healthcare and MedTech through MB Health. Clients include Dean’s Home Services, Kris Lindahl Real Estate, People Serving People, Pedal Pub, EOS, US Compliance and The Bond Between.
